House Rules

House Policy

Haris Park (hereinafter: ’Supplier’) intends to provide the following to its guests and contractual partners (hereinafter: ’Client’), based on the House Policy: decent dining experience, entertainment, security and the protection of the equipment and inventory of the building.

The guest(s) of Haris Park must accept, and act according to the content listed in the House Policy. By entering the premises of Haris Park, the Client admits to obey the House Policy.

The guest area of the Haris Park (including restrooms), can only be used as intended. The Client shall not violate any applicable legal regulations, provisions, or rules contained in this House Policy.

The observance and monitoring of the rules (listed in this House Policy) is done by the Supplier, and its employees.

In case there is any violation of this House Policy, the employees of the Supplier can refuse to serve the Client, and Supplier reserves the right to immediately expel and/or deny entry to culpable Client.

On the premises of Haris Park, it is FORBIDDEN:

  • to conduct any kind of unlawful activity, or to conduct such behavior, which violates basic expectations of cultured coexistence, violates public morality, human dignity and personal rights of others;
  • to do any kind of activity, which can disturb other guest(s) with high noise, smell or any harmful activity to the environment
  • the use of open flames or to do any activity which can cause fire
  • the use and/or abuse of drugs, illicit doping substances, narcotics
  • to possess pointed or edged weapons, sharp objects, guns, pyrotechnic device or other equipment which generate panic, moreover, it is forbidden to import any kind of device, which can threaten other’s physical integrity.
  • to do trade activities, advertisement or propaganda, (advertisement boards, stop signs, posters, flyers,) without the Supplier’s permission
  • gambling

Data protection

The Haris Park pay special attention when it comes to protect their guests’ personal data, which has been gathered for marketing purposes and when the guest is in contractual relationship with our facility.

As Haris Park is included in the Haris enterprise group, the employees of the subcompanies are handling the data together. These data are stored by the companies until the fulfillment of the contract or until either party is required to pursue any interest or legal obligation. Decoration, exhibited objects

The Client can only exhibit or place any kind of decorations or objects with the written permission from the Supplier.

Every decoration piece and exhibited object, must fit into the applicable fire protection regulations; they must be movable, they are not allowed to be fixed to the wall, ceiling or floor of the building.

The Supplier does not take responsibility for the decoration elements and exhibited objects.

The date and time of delivery will be determined by mutual agreement between the Client and Supplier.

Smoking

As of January 1, 2012, Act XLII of 1999 on the Protection of Non-Smokers is in force and according to the law, smoking and the use of electric cigarettes are prohibited in all enclosed rooms. Smoking is only permitted in the garden, at the designated smoking area.

Food and drink consumption

Haris Park is operating in the field of hospitality; therefore, it is only possible to consume the food and drinks purchased at Haris Park. Brining any other food or beverage to the territory of Haris Park is subject to written permission from the Supplier, and only if these products comply with the applicable health and safety regulations (eg.: cake can be imported from another producer if the manufacturer can provide HACCP certificate, and the Client presents the invoice, which verify that the cake is from this specific manufacturer)

Responsibility

The Supplier does not take any responsibility for the assets of the Client or for the proper functioning and physical integrity of items not owned by the Supplier.

The Client takes the responsibility for compensating damages caused to Supplier’s employees or assets by Client and/or its subcontractors, partners. In case the Supplier classifies the situation problematic, Supplier may deny the future cooperation with the Client.

Advertisement or media appearance of any event, organized in the territory of Haris Park, is only accepted with the previous consent from the Supplier.

Picture and sound recording

By entering the premises of Haris Park, Client agrees that in the entire venue (including the function rooms), picture and audio recording is allowed, in which the Client may appear as visitor, the usage of the recording it is not allowed to make any claim towards the Supplier, its employees or the makers of the recording, and towards the users with a valid legal permission of the recording.

Dogs, and other pets

No dogs, or other pets are allowed to enter the premises of Haris Park, so that the park's horticultural heritage and be protected, and the guests (specifically children) are encouraged to walk around freely on the lawn.

Suite

The Suite is reserved for the wedding couple (celebrating their wedding night at Haris Park), or for other VIP guests. The Suite can be occupied on the day of the event at 4pm and the check-out time the next day is latest at 12noon. In case of other type of events, the arrival time depends on the preliminary agreement between the Client and Supplier.

Maximum 4 people may be present in the Suite simultaneously. Damages made by the Client, or his/her guest or service provider must be compensated by the Client.

Behavior

All Clients are obliged to restrain such manifestation, statement or act which can offend others’ personal rights, life, health or endanger and offend other’s physical integrity. All visitors are obliged to respect other visitors’ and employees’ religious, political and ethnical preference, or others’ gender identity and sexual orientation.

Opening hours

The Haris Park is open from 08:00 am till 23:00 pm every day. In case there is an Event, this opening hour can change on an ‘ad hoc’ basis, however under any circumstances, outside events cannot last after 10 pm, and inside events cannot last after 1am. After the closure of the garden area, it is not possible to stay outside for a longer period (maximum 10 minutes), and it is forbidden to bother the peace of the neighborhood.

It is forbidden for guest(s) to stay within the premises of Haris Park beyond the official opening hours or an event’s official closing time.

Parking

In the parking lot of Haris Park, the KRESZ (Hungarian Traffic Code) regulations are valid.

Lost and Found

Objects lost on the premises of Haris Park will be kept for 30 days. In case the Client does not return for the lost object within 30 days, Supplier will destroy the found object.

Safety and Security

Everyone is obliged to do everything they can to protect their own, and others’ life, physical integrity and to protect and avoid the endangerment of the assets, the building, inventory and equipment of Haris Park.

In case of force majeure (eg.: environmental disaster, fire, bomb threat, etc.) the Client is obliged to adherence the instruction of the employees of Haris Park.

Noise control

In case of an event with music and dance, a sound check must be done with an appointed employee of the Supplier before the event. In the middle of the Ballroom, the allowed limit is 85 dbA, and every door and window must be kept closed after 10pm.

The Supplier reserves the right to reduce the volume, in case the Supplier considers it too high, and thinks that the level can generate noise complaint even if the maximum volume is maintained. In case the Client denies to cooperate in this situation with the Supplier, the Supplier is allowed to end the event.
